-Escape the crowd of other tourist at the beautiful pandan island(left pics), which is a beautiful small island normally visited by the locals and a few travellers , with beautiful coral. You can also kayak and jungle trek here.
-Take a short escapade to the famous mantanani island (picture right), whether you want to dive or snorkel..you will be amazed of the view. Famous for the clear blue sea and beautiful corals.
-Laze around the beaches of Kota belud, take dip and just relax . Most of the beaches here are visited by locals only as there very little exposure on the internet.
Listen to the sound of bird chirping, Trees swaying to the wind, cold and clean water that flows from mount kinabalu. Empty your mind and relieve the exhaustion of travelling or from work to the peacefulness of the nature. You may be free and swim with the locally protected fish at Talungan river, Melangkap tiung river, etc.

From october to march, you can catch a glimpse of birds that migrated from northern winter country to the tempasuk plain.
